Fairfield Preparatory Academy Wins 2024 Rookie of the Year & Silver School Accelys
Congratulations to Fairfield Preparatory Academy on winning Rookie of the Year for 2024 plus a Silver School Award at ACCELence2024, the annual leadership summit hosted by ACCEL Schools. As Rookie of the Year, Fairfield was acknowledged as the top all-around performing new school in ACCEL’s network. The Silver School Award recognizes high-achieving schools in the ACCEL network that demonstrate strong academic outcomes and positive enrollment growth.
“Fairfield Preparatory Academy is one of our newest sports academies and opened this school year with over 100 students enrolled. In their first year, they achieved PI of 82.22,” said ACCEL Schools CEO Ron Packard who presented the awards on July 10th. “It is an honor to recognize the staff and leadership who share our mission and strive to make quality education available to all children.”
Recognizing the hard work and success of schools, teachers, and principals is an important tradition at ACCEL Schools, a network of 98 public charter schools serving PK-12 students. The Accelys are awarded to schools with outstanding operational and academic results including student attendance, teacher retention, enrollment growth & retention, fiscal responsibility, benchmark assessments, and state testing.
